Baseball was always something I was passionate about, but was told when I could start throwing objects… it has been baseball ever since. I always knew that Baseball was going to be what I pursue in this life. I am so grateful that I did. My coaching career started immediately out of college. I graduated at the end of May with a Biology, and Exercise Science degree. Then headed straight to Front Royal, Va at the beginning of June to coach in The Valley League, a college summer league team. It has been full throttle from there….

Coach Austin played high school ball at Fruitport High School before playing with Muskegon Community College. He started coaching at Mona Shores High School before joining Cage 52 in 2020. He loves to golf, play video games, and see new movies. His favorite thing about coaching is seeing a kid’s reaction when their hard work pays off.
